What causes wrinkles?

Aging of the skin is a complex issue involving wrinkles, discoloration, age spots, broken blood vessels, roughness, precancerous skin cells and more. The sun's rays are responsible for 80-90% of premature aging, while free radical damage from environment and lifestyle claims the additional percentage. While none of us are exempt from age-related skin changes, scientifically proven technology can correct some of the visible signs. Other genetic and hormonal issues can further detract from our sense of well-being, such as acne, unwanted hair, port wine stains and spider veins.

What we offer:

Botox®, Dysport®

One of the most widely requested procedures in the medical aesthetic arena, Botox®, Dysport® Cosmetic is used to temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines in people from18 to 65 years of age. Botox®, Dysport® Cosmetic is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacteria, which reduces the activity of the muscles to which it is exposed. A few tiny injections and within 3-7 days there is a noticeable difference in the frown lines that can last up to 4-6 months.

Dermal Skin Filler-Restylane, Perlane

Dermal fillers are injectable, long lasting gels that can be used to lift deep folds and wrinkles, and even return plumpness into lips and cheeks to give you a more relaxed and youthful appearance. Restylane, Perlane is made of hylauronic acid, a natural compound found within our skin that attracts water molecules for a smooth and supple look and the effect can last 8 months or more.

Exfolliative Treatments

• Microdermabrasion uses tiny crystals to polish and vacuum away the damaged top layers of the skin which then stimulates new, healthier skin to replace the old. This works well alone or with other techniques to repair the effects of sun damage on the skin.
• Chemical Skin Peel uses a chemical solution to soften and peel the top layers of sun damaged and acne scarred skin away. Just as with a mechanical peel, removing the sun damaged skin chemically stimulates new, more youthful skin to regenerate.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

IPL is similar to laser in that it is using very strong light of certain wavelengths to evoke a desired response. For facial rejuvenation, it works to diminish age spots, acne, wrinkling and rosacea. For vascular lesions it can diminish or eliminate tiny spider veins, port wine stains and other vascular lesions.

Laser Hair Removal

Whether unwanted hair is on the face where everyone can see it or in a place that only you know it is there, removing unwanted hair is a time consuming and sometimes painful procedure. With our Laser there is a noticeable reduction if not elimination of unwanted hair for men, women and children within a few treatments.
