"As a midwife, I have the distinct privilege of working with women throughout the lifespan - from adolescence to child bearing and beyond menopause. My goal as a healthcare provider is to develop a partnership where the woman feels listened to, well informed, empowered, and expertly cared for." Michelle graduated with a Masters of Science in Nurse Midwifery in 2010 from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky (recently ranked the #1 Nurse Midwifery Program in the United States by US News & World Report). She received clinical training at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to becoming a midwife, Michelle attended nursing school at the College of Southern Maryland and gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery for several years. Michelle is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
