High Risk Pregnancy

Perinatology is a subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology for pregnancies that are, or could be considered high-risk because of a problem experienced by either the mother or the fetus. Physicians who practice perinatology are also referred to as maternal-fetal medicine specialists and have acquired specialized education beyond their Ob Gyn training. The perinatology team typically consists of accredited ultrasonographers, nurses and genetic counselors. Referrals are made to our network of these specialists. We currently have one participating practice and are growing this service to meet our patient’s needs.

ObGyn Preference Poll

Choosing an ObGyn is a personal process. Your provider will care for your reproductive health through each stage of your life.  Over time, a strong relationship will build as they learn the nuances of your medical history. After narrowing down the list based on criteria such as location, hospital affiliation, and billing/insurance, we often turn to others for guidance. Tell us what you look for when selecting an ObGyn.
