NEW PROGRAMS SERVICES

• New product research: Women's Health Connecticut continually searches for a wide variety of services, products and technologies that may enhance or improve the quality of care or quality of life for patients. Women's Health Connecticut, with a team of physicians, will perform due diligence to determine if the product meets these merits.
• Patient surveying: Women's Health Connecticut has done extensive pre and post-product launch surveys as a means to determine what the patient demand for a given new product or service may be.
• Product/service comparative analysis: When considering whether or not to introduce a new service, product or technology into the physician offices, Women's Health Connecticut will perform a comparative analysis to ensure that the most suitable product or service is selected.
• Financial analysis: Women's Health Connecticut will perform a financial analysis of any new service, product or technology that will include pricing, cost of implementation, additional staffing and insurance coverage, if applicable.
• Pricing negotiation: Women's Health Connecticut will negotiate preferential pricing, agreements, and vendor support, where applicable, on certain services, products or technologies to be implemented.
• Marketing and promotion: Once a new product or service is initiated in the physician office, Women's Health Connecticut will help to develop the marketing tools necessary to promote the program. Examples of marketing tools include, but are not limited to, brochures, posters, mailings, and Medical Messages announcements.
• Guideline Support: We work with clinicians in creating and providing clinical protocols and guidelines to physicians and other health care providers.
• Training and education: Women's Health Connecticut will coordinate all necessary training and ongoing education regarding any product or service that a practice chooses to implement.
• Documentation services: If a service is clinical in nature, Women's Health Connecticut will research the clinical coding documentation required for proper patient reimbursement.
• Vendor Troubleshooting: Women's Health Connecticut will act as the liaison between the physician group and the vendor, and will work to resolve issues in a timely manner.

REENIGINEERING SERVICES

Women's Health Connecticut has an expert team to evaluate a practice's financial and operational performance. Recommendations implemented at physician practices have improved physician productivity. Examples of some of the actions recommended include: the implementation of ancillary services, improving E&M coding, controlling staffing levels and expenses, adding satellite locations, adding staff when appropriate, space planning, and management training.
