Insurance plan participation

At The Center for Women's Health In Connecticut we participate in many managed care plans and also see patients with government as well as traditional insurance. Some insurance plans may require that you obtain a referral from your regular doctor (PCP) before you visit us if we are not your designated gynecologist. To learn if a particular physician participates with your plan, please contact our office or your insurance company.

About Insurance and Payments

You are responsible for learning details of your coverage from your insurance plan, including all deductibles, co-payments and/or any referrals that may be required by your insurance company. Your co-payment is expected at the time of service, and payment in full is expected at each visit for services not covered by your insurance. Additionally, if you do not have an insurance card available, and/or our physicians do not participate with your health plan, full payment also is expected at the time of service.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover and AMEX. All returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. If you are an existing patient with a balance due, you can also pay your bill online.
