Women’s Health USA proudly celebrates its President and Chief Operating Officer; and President and CEO of Women's Health CT, Nancy Bernstein for receiving the Hartford Business Journal’s 2019 Women in Business Award. The prestigious honor showcases eight of Connecticut’s successful female senior-level leaders, C-suite executives and entrepreneurs that make a difference in their company and the community. An independent panel of judges selected the finalists from nearly 90 nominations this year.
Nancy’s dedication to Women’s Health CT extends nearly 20 years and has branched out nationally as the Women’s Health USA President and COO since 2017. An indispensable business leader, she also previously served or currently serves on the boards of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Leadership Greater Hartford, Community Health Charities, Connecticut Center for Primary Care and United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. She received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 from the Hartford Business Journal for her contributions to the region.
As a winner, Nancy was highlighted by the Hartford Business Journal in a stand-alone piece about her work and talked about how overseeing business management practices for women’s health, ObGyn and in-vitro fertilization practices through this unique and definitively successful business model was a game-changer in growing her career.
