Nikko Dunlevy, MD
Dr. Nikko Dunlevy is committed to women’s health and the wellbeing of her patients at The Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Dunlevy received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and was elected into the Kane-King-Dodek Obstetrical Honors Society for her exemplary performance as a student.
She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where she received extensive training in conventional and minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery. During her residency, Dr. Dunlevy was highly regarded for her surgical skill and awarded for her clinical research in obstetrics. She served as Academic Chief Resident.
Dr. Dunlevy also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development with honors from McGill University in Montreal, and a post-baccalaureate degree in science from NYU.
She has traveled and volunteered extensively, caring for women with diverse backgrounds in birthing clinics and relief efforts overseas. She provided emergency aid and obstetric care to women following the tsunami in Indonesia and Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. In so doing, she developed the passion for women’s health that she carries with her today.
Dr. Dunlevy is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her approach is both evidence-based and holistic, integrating individual considerations and working in partnership with her patients. Her hobbies outside of medicine include horseback riding, traveling and culinary adventures with her husband.
