Amy E. Ivanovic, MD joined the team at Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in 2021. Amy completed her undergraduate education at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, graduating in 2006. She then attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IL, earning an MA in Zoology in 2009, and an MS in Basic Medical Sciences in 2010. Dr. Ivanovic received her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, in 2015. Dr. Ivanovic then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in 2019. There, she served as administrative chief resident and earned a resident teaching award.
Prior to joining this Women’s Health Connecticut practice, Dr. Ivanovic worked as a generalist ObGyn at Virginia Hospital Center Physician Group Ob/Gyn in Arlington, VA. She is a member of the America College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Ivanovic practices in Danbury. She is currently accepting ObGyn patients of all ages for annual well-woman visits, birth control counseling, pregnancy care, and more.
