About Kevin Hoag

Kevin W. Hoag, MD joined the team at Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in 2022. Dr. Hoag completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics in 2012. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from the St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2018 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Summa Health Medical System and Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2022.

Dr. Hoag enjoys playing an active role in educating the next generation of doctors. He has been honored with a Medical Student Teaching Award, a John Karlen Award for excellence in surgery, and a sMFM for excellence in obstetrics. Notably, from 2019 to 2021 Dr. Hoag lobbied Congress to advance women’s health issues on behalf of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Hoag has a special interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as high-risk obstetrics. He sees patients of all ages for routine ObGyn care in Danbury and is currently accepting new patients.

When not at work, Dr. Hoag enjoys cooking, traveling with his fiancé, and exercising.
