Hallie Mathia, MSN, CNM, WHNP, joined Circle for Life Midwifery in 2018. She brings years of experience in providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care for women in gynecologic and obstetric settings at Waterbury Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and Women’s Health Connecticut network partner, Specialists in Women’s Healthcare.
Hallie also worked for years as a Certified Birth Doula for Birth Partners Doulas of Connecticut, providing a comprehensive and individualized scope of support during pregnancy through the postpartum period.
Hallie attended Emerson College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in 2012. She went on to receive her nursing degree in 2016. Hallie completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a part of the Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner dual certification program at the Yale School of Nursing in 2018. Her specialties include adolescent care and sexual health. When she's not in clinic or on call, she enjoys finally being able to read books that are not textbooks, and spending time with family and friends!
