Iris Moore, DO
Dr. Iris Moore attended the City University of New York (CUNY) College of Staten Island (CSI), where she was a member of the Swimming and Track teams and worked as a Biology and Chemistry Tutor. She was a three-time member of the Dean’s List and was a CUNY Student Athlete of the Year honorable mention.
After receiving a B.S. in Biology, she taught Biology as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Staten Island. Dr. Moore earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of Connecticut Medical Center in 2018. During residency she conducted research on patterns of exercise and physical activity prior to and during pregnancy.
She is a member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). Her professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and physical activity as an adjunct to healthcare. In her free time Dr. Moore enjoys trail running, hiking, traveling and cooking.
