Schedule an Appointment
To serve you in the best way possible, we work by appointments. Not all of our physicians/clinicians see patients at every location, so please confirm your provider’s location when making appointments. Patients can expect same-day visits with one of our available physicians for urgent problems. Please let us know of any issues that may necessitate how soon you need to be seen.
At your initial visit, you will be asked to present your insurance card, photo ID, any necessary co-payments and to complete new patient paperwork. We ask that all patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to complete this paperwork. You may download and complete our new patient paperwork and bring it with you to save time at your first appointment.
Prescription Refill Policy
All prescriptions are called in by the end of the day. Prescriptions are not filled on weekends or after office hours.
To Cancel or Reschedule
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you cancel/reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
In case of an emergency, you can reach our answering service 24 hours a day by calling (860) 364-0536. Your call will be returned by our on call physician.
At Sharon OB/GYN Associates we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with government as well as traditional insurance. Some insurance plans may require that you obtain a referral from your regular doctor (PCP) before you visit us if we are not your designated gynecologist. To learn if a particular physician or clinician participates with your plan, please contact our office or your insurance company.

Billing and Payments
You are responsible for learning the details of your coverage from your insurance plan, including all deductibles, co-payments and/or any referrals that may be required by your insurance company. Your co-payment is expected at the time of service, and payment in full is expected at each visit for services not covered by your insurance. Additionally, if you do not have an insurance card available, and/or our physicians do not participate with your health plan, full payment also is expected at the time of service.
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Mastercard and VISA. All returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. If you are an existing patient with a balance due, you can also pay your bill online.
