Michelle graduated with a Masters of Science in nurse midwifery in 2010 from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky (recently ranked the #1 Nurse Midwifery Program in the United States by US News & World Report). She received clinical training at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to becoming a midwife, Michelle attended nursing school at the College of Southern Maryland and gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery for several years. Michelle is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
