Women's Health Primary Care Shoreline is proud to welcome Allison Kilmer, MSN, APRN, NP-C to the team. A longtime resident of Southeastern CT, Allison is passionate about providing the best possible care to the women in her community.
Allison earned a BS in Nursing from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. After attending college, she served as a commissioned officer in the Army Nurse Corp, and deployed with the 21st Combat Support Hospital to New Orleans as part of relief efforts in response to hurricane Katrina. Allison went on to serve in the Army National Guard, and later graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven with an MS in Nursing. Most recently, Allison worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Northeast Medical Group in Waterford, where she also volunteered as a “Walk with a Doc” Talk Leader, leading a high-level discussion for community members on pertinent health topics including the mental health benefits of exercise and tick borne illness.
Allison is currently accepting new patients for annual physicals as well as problem visits for cold and flu, and follow-up visits for management of hypertension, asthma, diabetes, anxiety, and depression.
