Jocelyn Mendes, PA-C, joined Women’s Health Center, a Women's Health CT practice, in 2018. She earned a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. Jocelyn teaches as an adjunct professor at the Sacred Heart University Physician Assistant Program, focusing on women’s health and patient care. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a founding member of the PA Student Society of Old Westbury.
Jocelyn’s mission is to provide quality care in a safe and caring environment. She enjoys the relationships she builds with her patients in an amazing network of providers. She empowers women by providing them the knowledge they need to better their overall health and advises her patients on the importance of keeping up with preventative care visits in order to improve overall well-being. Jocelyn has a special interest in contraceptive care management. She is also fluent in Portuguese and has conversational skills in Spanish.
In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
