Daniel Lax, MD
Daniel Lax, MD, is a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and joined the team at Women’s Health Center in 2019. He received his B.S. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University and was granted the Faculty Award for Excellence in Nutrition Science. He received his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University in Israel in 2014. Dr. Lax then completed his residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center as a Chief Resident, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Liaison and received the Michael C. Pitter Award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Lax continued his medical training by completing a Fellowship at the Bronx Care Health System in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery and Urogynecology.
Dr. Lax has also published reports and abstracts related to Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Glioblastoma. He has presented at the AAGL Global Congress of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and at the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research. He has previously been a volunteer at Physicians for Human Rights and Save a Child’s Heart.
