Dr. Peterson graduated Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995 and earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Forth Worth. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 2011 and joined Women’s Health Group, a Women's Health Connecticut pracrtice, shortly thereafter.
In 2010 Dr. Peterson received the McCrann Award for Excellence in Patient Care from Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. She is certified in neonatal resuscitation and affiliated with numerous Medical Associations.
In her free time Dr. Peterson enjoys hiking, camping, downhill skiing and reading.
