Jill Peters-Gee, MD is a Board-Certified Urologist with over 25 years of experience in the research and treatment of female urologic disorders. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Peters-Gee completed her surgery and urology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. 

She has dedicated her career to clinical research and treatment of female urological disorders such as, pelvic pain, various forms of incontinence, kidney stone treatment, and treatment of interstitial cystitis. Dr. Peters-Gee is continuously recognized as a caring and compassionate doctor by her patients, including a Compassionate Doctor Award as a part of the 2010 Patient’s Choice Awards. In addition, she is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Urological Association, Connecticut State Medical Society, Hartford Medical Society and Society of Women in Urology. 

Dr. Peters-Gee believes in clinical research and finding new options for patients with female urologic disorders. She has many years of experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical research for several urologic diseases affecting females related to incontinence, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome and decreased sexual desire related to menopause.

Dr. Peters-Gee is affiliated with Hartford Hospital and John Dempsey Hospital/University of Connecticut. She remains involved in the teaching and training of the Urology residents and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the University of Connecticut.

In her free time, Dr. Peters-Gee enjoys traveling, fly fishing, and gardening. She is a volunteer for Casting for Recovery and is a casting instructor, helping teach women with breast cancer how to fly fish. In addition, she volunteers as a Master Gardener.
