Center of Excellence - Hysterectomy

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), your provider may recommend a hysterectomy (surgical removal of the uterus) to treat conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, abnormal bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, or gynecologic cancer. Many of our providers perform laparoscopic hysterectomies, which may result in less pain and require a shorter hospital stay. Women's Health Connecticut practices are among a select group of facilities that have been recognized by the State of Connecticut for providing the highest quality hysterectomy care, from initial evaluation to your recovery.
